The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our digital presence and ensuring our websites communicate our research in the best way possible. Your technical proficiency and attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of our main digital interface.

You will become an expert on our fully custom web platform, content management system, and interconnected websites and advise the organization on their use. You will also plan, manage, and execute changes and improvements to the platform to respond to the organization's changing needs.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Main responsibility for PRIO’s web platform and websites, ensuring they communicate our research effectively and are user-friendly, well-designed and secure.
  • Manage the continued development of PRIO’s web platform and websites in cooperation with colleagues and external partners.
  • Optimize website content for search engine discovery and presentation.
  • Monitor traffic and statistics.
  • Advise the organization on web communication.

Experience and skills

  • Experience as a Web Developer or expertise in related fields with a desire to be more hands-on with web development.
  • An undergraduate degree or higher is required. A BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. A strong technical background is crucial.
  • Experience with content management systems and website management tools.
  • Experience with modern web development frameworks and methodologies is preferred. Experience using ASP.NET Core and Blazor is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web analytics and SEO.
  • You should be familiar with emerging technologies and industry trends and prepared to apply them effectively.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills and ability to work well with people.
