About the Team
Our Safety Advisory team supports a wide range of industries, working at the intersection of innovation and safety. We contribute to projects involving:
- Hydrogen and ammonia safety
- Carbon capture and CO₂ transportation
- Battery technology
- Offshore wind
- Traditional energy markets

Our Service Portfolio Includes:
- Quantitative risk analysis
- Human factors and organizational performance
- Emergency preparedness and response planning
- Advanced fire and explosion modeling (CFD)
- Advisory services based on risk insights and consequence analysis
- Security risk evaluation and system design
- Development of risk based tools and methodologies
- Technical safety and systems advisory
Collaboration and Culture
Our team is primarily based in Høvik, but we work closely with colleagues across locations and disciplines to deliver the best possible outcomes. We also collaborate with other DNV units in Norway and internationally, combining expertise to support our clients effectively.
About the Role
We are looking for a forward-thinking and results-oriented Team Leader to guide our quantitative Safety Risk team. In this role, you will:

While experience in Quantitative Risk Analysis is a plus, we also welcome candidates with a solid technical or analytical background who are eager to learn and grow into the role.

About you
We’re looking for someone with:
- MSc or equivalent
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in consulting, project management, or technical advisory
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset
- Familiarity with safety, risk, or engineering principles (preferred but not required)
- Experience with data analysis, modeling, or simulation tools (e.g., CFD, risk modeling tools)
