About the role

Group Tax is responsible for all aspects of DNV’s tax strategy and management and works holistically towards the broader regulatory landscape.

DNV’s current strategy has a significant ambitions for in-organic growth and we have a high level of M&A activities. DNV has also over the last couple of years built a Corporate Venture organization with big ambitions. Group Tax is a key player in DNV’s M&A and venture activities.

We are therefore looking to strengthen the Group Tax team at Høvik and are seeking a high-achieving tax lawyer with a commercial mindset and M&A experience from either a well-renowned law firm, Big 4 or an in-house tax position. The new position will focus on M&A/venture and internal restructurings, but also other national and international corporate tax matters.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Master in Law
  • 2-5 years' experience as a tax lawyer, in-house tax legal counsel or similar
  • Experience within Norwegian and international corporate tax and M&A transactions
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate easily with colleagues, and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex issues and deliver sound, timely judgments within deadlines
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
