We are strengthening our team with an experienced and technical System Engineer - are you the one we are looking for?

As system engineer in Zenitel your work tasks will be diverse and challenging, and you will support our internal sales teams in the Onshore Business Unit, as well as support towards our local offices, partners and customers. You will also meet some of these in the classroom and online as an instructor. Our central technical support- and training team consists of five highly competent and engaged engineers, working both independently and in collaboration maintaining and developing high quality services. As part of our team, you will have a central role in Zenitel going forward.

The technical support team is the go-to team for both technical support of bids and regular support. We would love to strengthen the team with a sales-oriented technician, who’s is truly savvy in IP and network, since this becomes an even bigger part of our solutions going forward. You have in depth technical skills combined with good communication ability, especially in English. The ideal candidate is proactive, enthusiastic and positive with a can-do attitude and a drive to develop together with the team.

Work place for this position will be Trondheim or Oslo.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Technical and sales support
  • Support sales, subsidiaries and partners with tech presales, tenders and implementation
  • Plan and hold trainings, both in classroom and online
  • Support QA in solving product claims
  • Assist R&D and Product Management in product evaluation and testing
  • Attend sales meetings and other sales related activities when requested
  • Create technical support material

We believe that you:

  • Are an engineer or similar, preferably within IT or electronics
  • Experience from, and interested in telecom
  • Have excellent competence within IP and network
  • Speak and write English fluently
  • Have audio and video knowledge
  • Have the ability to understand customers' needs
  • Like to use both hands and mind, are practically oriented and hands-on
  • Have experience from technical support or similar, and ideally also tech presales support
