About the role
We are looking for an inspired and ambitious Support Engineer to join our team at DNV – Digital Solutions in Stavanger.
You will be part of a motivated and dynamic Application Support team working closely together with Cloud Operations, Sales, Consulting, Product management and the Development teams to deliver superior customer experience.
The product we are supporting is Synergi Life, a leading QHSE software with great Involvement in many industries, like Energy, Health, Transportation and Construction. We are seeing a great growth and demand for the software among our existing and new customer. This is also a configurable tool where new modules are adjusting to the market needs. The candidate will support our global client base.
Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Customer support and problem solving
- Configuration and general administration of Synergi Life
- Cooperation with other team members in Support, consultancy, sales and 3rd line resources from Development
- Possibly conduct Basic Training in use of the Synergi Life product and its components

This role involves being part of a dynamic and global support team, starting as a 1st line support engineer with the potential to advance to a 2nd line engineer as your skills and competencies develop. Additionally, you will take on Cloud Operations support responsibilities where Synergi Life is utilized. About you
Competences required:
- Minimum 2-3 hand on experience in Synergi Life usage and administration
- The right candidate holds a Bachelor degree or equivalent in IT-related subjects and is familiar with relevant technologies, such as:
- Database technology - MS SQL Server, Azure SQL
- SQL knowledge - PL/SQL, T-SQL, etc.
- Knowledge of Azure, SaaS, and Application Insights for logs & troubleshooting
- Windows Server / Web technology
- Customer-focused with previous Support experience
- Experience from working with international customers
- Good verbal and written communications skills in English
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian is an advantage but not a prerequisite
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Excellent relationship-building skills, able to understand customer needs
