In our business area, Maritime, we are developing a rich and varied portfolio of applications that are deployed world-wide to more than 10 000 users in over 100 countries. We constantly innovate to make the most of data and technology.
Our core business is to ensure that ships are correctly designed, built, and operated.
The combined solution of our wide application landscape supports all aspects of the business for both our customers and internal users - and are deployed continuously several times per week.
The Class Development team in Maritime is now searching for summer workers for summer 2026. The student(s) we are looking for have subjects like:
• Data science
• Machine Learning
• Software development
• UX
A summer job in Class Development will consist of teamwork on specific tasks guided by our technical experts.
Managers will select summer students based on their business needs aligned with your education, experience and background. Please indicate your master program specialization and/or main area of study during the application process.
We are looking for students with relevant knowledge and competence. We trust our summer temps to help us keep the offices up and running during the summer and make the projects proceed according to plan.
Primarily we are seeking 3rd and 4th year students with relevant Master Program specialization in:
• Data and AI
• Mathematics
• Physics
• Computer Science / Information Science
• UX
Location: DNV Head Office, Høvik (outside Oslo). #summerjob

It is also worth noting that we offer free parking and shuttle buses to and from Skøyen, Lysaker and Sandvika.
Previous summer temps have experienced the summer jobs in DNV to be an excellent opportunity to get to know DNV as a workplace while obtaining valuable and real work experience. At Høvik - enjoying an ice cream at the beach during lunch is another benefit!
