The unit for Cranes & Lifting Operations comprises 14 highly competent and experienced engineers representing a recognized multi-discipline industry environment located in Bergen and Stavanger.

We are looking for well-qualified engineers to fill positions within the section’s Structural/Mechanical and/or Electro/control systems disciplines. Candidates should have good technical knowhow and communication skills combined with a commercial mindset and quality focus.

As new employees you have the opportunity to work with all services we provide, which are:

  • design verification
  • certification (including Notified Body within Machinery Directive)
  • enterprise of competence (Sakkyndig Virksomhet)
  • advisory/consulting

Every year we get involved in a large variety of interesting projects within offshore, onshore, renewables and maritime markets, typically within new buildings, modifications, inspection, testing, fabrication follow up, commissioning, risk assessment, GAP analyses, Technology Qualification, advisory, etc. Based on the experience and knowledge gained over several decades we are active part in national and international standardisation committees (EN standards, NORSOK, etc) together with other key stakeholders in the cranes & lifting industry.

You will get the opportunity to develop relation-based sales and actively contribute to creating values for our clients. Different working places (including offshore installations and onshore sites in addition to office work) create job variation which our employees find attractive. Our clients are typically operators, rig owners, crane/lifting equipment manufacturers, contractors, yards, workshops, etc.

Position Qualifications

You will be successful in the position based on

  • B.Sc./M. Sc. within relevant crane discipline
  • Years of relevant work experience, all levels of experience are invited to apply
  • good language capabilities, verbal and written, both in Norwegian and English.
