Specialist Gas Compressor / Turbo machinery

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is now looking for a: Specialist - Gas Compressor / Turbo machinery (Front End Engineering) with experience of onshore or offshore projects.

What will you be doing?

• Act as specialist engineer in concept/FEED phase for turbo machinery / gas compressors
• Technology evaluations
• Equipment configuration/selection, specifications
• Coordination of internal disciplines
• Interaction with procurement and client

Qualifications we think you should have:

• BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering or similar
• Extended experience within the field turbo machinery, large gas compressors specifically
• 15 years’ experience or more from the oil and gas industry
• Recent experience as hands-on responsible for turbo machinery in oil & gas projects
• Good and proactive communication skills
• Software skills: Office tools, ProArc
• Fluent English, written or spoken

Work location: Fornebu (Oslo), Norway, or London, United Kingdom -Travels to Oslo is required for meetings/workshops

Contract duration: January 2025 with option for extension
