About the role

We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Software Security Coordinator and Team Member to join our team in the Digital Technology section within Offshore Infrastructure and Technology.

This role will help coordinate all software security aspects that we are exposed to and further monitor and develop good software security practices across our increasing software portfolio.

For the moment, the Digital Technology section is responsible for 12 software products that are commercially available to our clients. The portfolio of products is expected to grow substantially within the next strategy period, and to keep a healthy software security culture in our unit, we are seeking a proactive security coordinator that can monitor, educate, and ensure compliance with all software security requirements and principles within DNV.

In this role, you will need to integrate cutting-edge digital solutions from and across our Business Areas to help shape and build a strong digital software security culture.

It is also expected that you will gradually be able to support Product Owners with other software-related issues, such as bug fixing, software development, project management, and innovation of new products.

We are experiencing an increased demand for digital solutions driven by our clients. This will require insight into working with DNV’s innovation framework, as well as close interaction with our domain experts and both existing and new clients.

This ensures that we remain at the forefront of industry innovation and maintain our commitment to sustainable business performance.

It is expected that the candidate will join the Black Belt security training scheme in DNV to achieve the appropriate green or red belt certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, coordinate and resolve software-related security issues for our portfolio of products and be the contact point for software security issues in our department and beyond when needed.
• Help to foster a culture of customer centricity, inclusion, agility, and continuous learning within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software development and digital security culture.
• Contribute to help the Digital Technology section in becoming a smart hub for fostering new digital services and digital tools together with our domain experts.
• Ensure the alignment of and onboarding of digital strategies and software security governance within DNV’s values and strategy
