Position Qualifications

Veracity by DNV is looking for a skilled and passionate Software Developers at our Oslo/Høvik office.

You will join a global team that runs a broad range of products and services, transforming existing and developing new digital services and tools across all of DNV's industries. • Exploring simpler and more informed patient journeys in health care through data sharing between consumers and providers
• Developing a digital platform to connect fuel suppliers and ship owners in the maritime industry
• Providing ship performance and safety solutions, using sensor data to improve maritime operations
• Transforming existing services into new digital business models, using data insights to offer customized services, automation and self-service.
• Our technology stack contains relevant languages, technologies, and tools like Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, WebAPI, React, MS SQL, Azure Cloud, Node.js, Pyton, Databricks etc

Requirements Back-end developer:

• 1+ years of relevant professional experiences
• Hands on experience with Azure cloud
• Solid knowledge of web application development on the Microsoft .NET framework
• Ability to work on both front-end and back-end of applications
• Solid experience with ASP.Net MVC, Entity framework and C#
• Good at JavaScript, TypeScript and common JS libraries
• A good understanding of object-oriented design principles and patterns
• A good understanding of SQL Server and database design

Requirements Front-end developer:

• 1+ years of relevant professional experiences
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and React
• Experience on Typescript, Styled Components, React Query, state management with Redux, Context, or Zustand
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Experience in delivering standard compliant (W3C, XHTML) and accessible (WCAG, 508) websites
• Understanding of usability and security concerns
• Experience with design is a plus
• Proficient understanding of Git as code versioning tool
• Preferably experience with Visual Studio, ASP.NET/ASP.NET MVC and C#
• Desired hands on experience with Azure cloud

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Collaborate with the team on architecting new features and seeing them through to buisness critical solutions
  - Design and develop applications where data is a core part of the product
  - Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the applications
  - Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  - Optimization of applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology and expose, share and discuss technology with a large network of like-minded colleagues
• Work within your agile, cross-functional team focusing on delivering customer value
• Work closely with DNV’s technical and commercial expertise to understand the problems to be solved and find the best solutions
• Take part in all development phases, from idea generation to seeing your solutions in use.
