Job description

The IT Security Management unit is one of two security units within the GSS IT organization. Both units provide security services internally to DNV, and the main responsibilities for the IT Security Management unit lie within Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). The services consist of information security risk management, vendor security assessments, application security assessments, security architecture and security advisory. The unit closely collaborates with DNV Business Areas and DNV Group functions.

We need to strengthen our ability to monitor the digital footprint of DNV and are looking for a Service Manager for our security scan services. The Service Manager Security Scans will:

  • Manage our in-house developed Security Scan tool, including, but not limited to:
    • Set the direction for the tool, ensuring continuous improvement of the service
    • Ensure the outside-in view is reflected in our own Security Scan tool
    • Ensure that reporting and dashboards are made available to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure service performance meets service level agreement (SLAs)
  • Ensure continuous improvement of productivity and efficiency
  • Innovate and further develop service
  • Actively monitor user satisfaction, and action improvement plans based on feedback
  • Manage relationships with third parties delivering an outside-in view of DNV
  • Manage end-to-end follow-up of findings from the outside-in view.

Given that DNV is a company with a global footprint, some travel should be expected.

Position Qualifications

To succeed in this position, we prefer that you have a cyber security background, but personal attributes and profile may weigh up for a lack of that. Relevant background that may speak in your favor:

  • Formal education (BSc or MSc), preferably in Cyber Security
  • Cyber Security work experience
  • Experience with information security standards like ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2 or similar, maybe through your previous work as a consultant.
  • Ability to maintain strong functional and technical understanding of system(s)
  • Ability to maintain a solid understanding of relevant product roadmaps, and stay updated on new technology and trends in the market
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, and be able present in a concise and to-the-point way to senior executives as well as other stakeholders. You should also be able to “tell the story” in a comprehensible way to technical as well as non-technical individuals
  • You are a natural when it comes to networking and relationship-building
  • You have an innovative way of looking at problems, with a corresponding passion to solve them.
