We are seeking a senior Process Engineer with a background in water and environmental engineering to contribute to projects like Fuglevik RA and Biri VBA. Candidates should have expertise in either wastewater treatment, or drinking water treatment. Your main tasks will be:
- Develop and optimize water and wastewater treatment processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability
- Plan and manage multidisciplinary projects for water and wastewater plants, ensuring all stakeholder needs are addressed
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards to maintain operational integrity.
- Collaborate with junior team members to provide recommendations, conduct quality assurance for process design calculations, and prepare technical documentation, reports, and performance evaluations that ensure effective operations and clarity for internal and external stakeholders.

In addition, you have:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in civil engineering within water and environmental engineering or related specialization
- Extensive experience within water and/or wastewater treatment
- Solid knowledge within process technology
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good written and spoken Norwegian skills are required
COWI has customers and projects that may require security clearance at various levels. Security clearance may therefore be required in some projects/positions.
