Senior Purchasers

We are looking for Senior Purchasers to strengthen our Supply Chain department in Oslo. As a Senior Purchaser you will work with exiting projects within our Field Development and Offshore Wind segment.

About the position

With us, you will work with dedicated colleagues in multidisciplinary teams. You must be able to balance several tasks at det same time and thrive in a hectic work environment. The other members on your team have great confidence in you, and know you are dedicated to keeping yourself informed on status and progress.

Responsibilities and tasks include

• Good understanding of needs from fabrication, and follow up on deliveries to fabrication sites
• Good knowledge of market and products
• Accuracy with regards to call offs and variations, including rush deliveries
• Bid clarification end evaluations
• Follow up and expedite vendors
• Arrange/participate in meetings and supplier visits
• Budget, cost and progress establishing, follow up and reporting
• Close out, evaluation of use of Liquidated damages, experience transfer

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree
• Experience from the energy sector
• EPC experience
• Contracts management
• ERP, ProArc, SAP, Office
• Commercial awareness

Personal qualities

• Good oral and written communication skills, both in Norwegian and English
• Ability to work independently as well as in teams
• Systematic and accurate
• A high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Proactive, seeking advice and share own experience with others
