About the role

Are you our new colleague? You have a passion for power market modelling and want to be a leading capacity in understanding how power markets in the Nordics, Europe and elsewhere will develop under the green transition. We are looking for an experienced senior to join our pan-European Power market modeling and power price forecasting team.

Your core responsibilities

  • Be a key, senior person to develop our fundamental power price forecasting model, with a special emphasis on hydro power modelling
  • Be responsible for development of power market reports for the Nordic markets
  • Support analytical projects including bespoke analysis in the Nordics and elsewhere

With location in Oslo, you will cooperate with team colleagues in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and France. Our customers include funds and other investors, energy companies, TSOs, NGOs, governments and regulators.

Our current power market services cover most of Western Europe and several countries in South America, and provide value to our customers across investment in power-related assets, transactions, and market analysis projects. We also combine our modelling with AI driven layers, as well as using input from our Energy Transition Outlook model, that covers both global regions as well as several individual countries and provides cutting edge insight in demand side developments.
