Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

Crucial for all our projects is good Planning, and to succeed in our ambitious goals, we have a long-term objective of strengthening our planning capabilities, and we desire more dedicated and engaged employees to join us and make a difference.

Our Planning Department in Stord is now looking for an experienced Planning Manager to help us succeed in our purpose of solving global energy challenges for future generations.

What will you be doing?

• The Planning Manager will be the overall responsible and accountable for developing solutions within Planning in EPCI and Renewables projects
• An important part of the role will be close dialogue and cooperation with teams, partners and clients to develop sustainable solutions and execution model
• If you like cooperation and developing optimal and feasible solutions you will thrive in this role
• Participating in developing and establishing project execution strategy are one of the most exciting parts of the role
• Evaluate risk and opportunities in contracts will be crucial to succeed
• You will have the possibility to work in the forefront of the field and bring forward new ideas and continuous improvement across the industry
• Work location is Stord, Verdal or Oslo - depending on your preference. Some travel between locations Oslo/Stord/Verdal will be required depending on the project

We think you should have:

• You probably have a Master or Bachelor’s degree, but if you are a skilled worker or have experience in planning we would like to hear from you
• Relevant work experience within EPC phases of a project
• If you are collaborative and have the ability to build relationships, you will be a good asset to the team
• Analytical and Structured mindset are personal skills that will be appreciated in this role
• Contract awareness is important, as we love to see ourselves and our clients succeed
• Ability to communicate fluently in Norwegian and English, verbally and written
