About the role
The Oracle Senior Applications DBA(s) will be part of our Oracle Cloud Services Team within our Global Delivery Center in Gdynia. Our Oracle team consists of 9 full time resources globally and will work in close interaction with the global IT organization. We collaborate mainly with Finance Applications supporting various Oracle Databases and Applications, including E-business Suite on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Your key tasks and deliveries:
We are looking for Oracle Senior Applications DBA with a self-driven, and proactive attitude, solid team player, customer focused, best practices observer and hungry for innovation.
The key responsibilities will be as follows:
- Install, patch, and maintain E-business Suite & Enterprise Command Centers, Exadata, Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Databases and Grid Infrastructure on Multi-Cloud
- Patch and maintain Oracle Enterprise Manager CC
- Support daily operations and projects
- Troubleshoot operational issues observing business SLAs
- Get involved with GSS IT experts globally
- Document and share activities and procedures following the best practices
- Adherence to the GSS IT key service management principles and processes
- Work proactively on Automation, Compliance and Security
- Train and mentor support staff

Position Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with 15+ years of relevant professional Oracle E-business Suite and Database experience who wants to join our new Oracle Cloud Service team. The candidates should have the following experiences and qualities:
- Bachelor’s degree or similar
- Red Hat/Oracle Linux Proficient (bash scripting including)
- Experience on E-business Suite R12.2 Administration
- Experience on Oracle Database 19+ mission-critical large-scale database on Exadata
- Advanced Knowledge on Data Guard, Grid Infrastructure, Real Application Clusters and ASM
- Advanced knowledge on RMAN backup and recovery
- Experience with Database optimization and SQL and PL/SQL Tuning
- Experience with OEM CC 13
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong interpersonal/teaming skills in a highly collab global environment
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Other clouds, Automation and DevOps basics experience is a plus
