In the Renewable Energy department at COWI, we work on projects within forward-looking and sustainable energy solutions. Role

Today, we work in a wide range of energy projects within solar power, energy storage, and electrification to meet society’s increasing demand for sustainable energy solutions. As a senior energy advisor, you will help develop energy concepts and implement these for our clients. With us, you will be able to work on projects in both energy planning, production, and distribution.

You will have a central role in the development of our technical areas and professional guidance of colleagues in the section.

In a growing market, we have ambitions to strengthen capacity and competence in several of our core areas in Renewable Energy, and your everyday work may include the following tasks:

• Engineering tasks in solar power projects, including rooftop-mounted, building-integrated, and ground-mounted solar installations
• Engineering tasks in electrification projects, such as charging facilities for buses and heavy transport, shore power systems for the electrification of maritime transport, etc.
• Dimensioning of battery and solar power systems
• Energy analysis tasks and consultancy within reserve markets
• Participate in interdisciplinary energy concept studies
• Hold professional and quality responsibility in projects
• Contribute to the department’s marketing and tender work

• Higher education in a relevant technical field
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken Norwegian and English

• Skilled at building relationships and collaborating internally with colleagues and externally with customers and stakeholders

• Experience with relevant software
