As we are further strengthening our Group People Processes unit, we are searching for a Senior Compensation and Benefits specialist to join our team. We are looking for a curious, analytical and self-driven candidate with experience in compensation and benefits topics as well as project management skills to join our team. As a member of the People Processes team in Group People, you will work at our Høvik office in Norway, surrounded by scenic views. The team is headed by the Group People Process Officer, who reports to the Chief People Officer (CPO).
Main areas of responsibility for the position:
- Develop, implement and govern compensation and benefits approaches that are aligned with the company’s strategy, and work culture
- Lead and further develop the annual Compensation & Benefits processes
- Coordinate with internal and external partners within the Compensation & Benefits area, and provide advice on the global application of the DNV compensation and benefits approaches and processes incl. acquisitions (M&A)
- Administer and monitor the company’s profit share program for employees
- Analyze market salary data, conduct salary benchmark to ensure competitive salary and benefit rates
- Govern and develop the global mobility policy
To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe the right candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Master of Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other related field
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in the Compensation & Benefits area, a proven track record with different incentive schemes and calculations is a benefit
- Experience with compensation management, especially managing workforce compensation processes and developing incentive schemes in large organizations
- Experience from benefit management like pension and insurances
- Experience with global mobility would be seen as an advantage
Skills:
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, and experience with financial modelling
- Very good knowledge of Excel and other reporting and analytics tools
- A positive and proactive attitude towards problem-solving
- Ability to think both strategically and operationally
- High ethical standards and integrity
- Easily builds relationships and trust
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in teams
- Strong written and verbal English and Norwegian communication skills
