Local Unit & Position:

We are looking to strengthen our team with another experienced AI researcher. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI technologies, with a focus on developing and implementing strategies to ensure AI is trustworthy and responsible. This role involves conducting cutting-edge research, developing new methodologies, and working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate ethical AI practices into products and services.

The position is within Group Research and Development (GRD) in DNV, in our Digital Assurance research program. This research program consists of more than 40 experts in AI, risk, assurance, and related topics.

About you

Key qualifications:

• MSc or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics,
• Statistics, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI, either in industry or academia.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning libraries.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• A passion for responsible and trustworthy AI.

The research work will involve both the design and implementation of AI solutions, and of digital solutions for assurance of AI.
