Are you our new senior advisor in the Project Department?
Åkerblå Group AS is a leading provider of services to the aquaculture industry, public sector, research and educational institutions, and other organizations. As a forward-looking and growing company with an international focus, we are recognized as one of the aquaculture industry's top interdisciplinary expertise centers.
Our broad expertise spans fish health, biology, oceanography, technical services, and interdisciplinary advisory services. With around 380 employees across 24 offices along the Norwegian coastline and in several other countries, our head office is located in Frøya, where our journey began.
We collaborate with the industry to promote a healthy marine environment under our motto: safe - fresh - smart. Committed to high-quality services, we hold numerous accreditations in our specialist fields, contributing to knowledge-based marine health and sustainable ocean resource management.
Acquired by DNV in 2023, we continue to invest in growth and sustainable ocean health.
As a result of increased demand, we are now primarily looking for a senior advisor with fish health experience for our project department. In the project department, our main focus is to help our customers map and find solutions to their challenges. The department mainly provides professional advice related to fish health and the environment, administrative processes, process management of applications, responsibility for site development and project management for our customers and partners.
In the position as a senior advisor in the project department of Åkerblå, you must be professionally dedicated, have broad knowledge and experience from the aquaculture industry, and be motivated to develop the department further through:
- Follow-up and assistance to both existing and new customers and assignments
- Mapping and identifying emerging trends and market needs
- Lead major projects and coordinate holistic deliveries across academic environments
- Lead and carry out tender and tender processes
- Ensure optimal cost management and resource use in our deliveries
- Ensure good interaction and increased synergy between the different disciplines in Åkerblå
The position will largely be shaped by the candidate's experience, competence and motivation.
The desired office location for the position is Tromsø or Harstad, but we are open to discussing one of our other office locations in Region North. State your preferred office location in the application.

The right candidate has project management experience with good abilities to build relationships, to both new and existing customers, and to interaction and communication – internally and externally. You have authorization as a veterinarian or fish health biologist, and some industry experience. Experience with clinical fish health work, production in aquaculture, project work or management is a plus.
You have good organizational skills and are structured. Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian and English are a requirement for the position. Some travel must be expected in the position, so a category B driver's license is a requirement.
