Sales executive / Key Customer Manager

Then you might be the one we are looking for to help us strengthen DNV GL’s position in the Norwegian market.
Your main task will be sales and customer care within Management System Certification and related in-house training courses. You will be responsible for your own sales budget, with the aim to create growth through existing and new clients. You will also be responsible for re-negotiation of existing contracts.
Tasks
- Customer care, sales and customer communication
- Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns
- Build pipeline and close sales within different customer segments
- Renewal and updates of contracts and selling additional services to existing customers
- Keeping our CRM system up-to-date
- Responsible for personal target as well as team target
In the role of Sales Executive you are asked to proactively increase the sales pipeline within defined industry sectors and later also take the responsibility as Key Customer Manager for some of our Global customers.
In addition, the position also includes a certain amount of "inhouse sales" related activities including processing of quotes supporting existing customers in growing their portfolio. Our ambition is to provide you the right environment to develop you further into senior sales position.
Position Qualifications
The right candidate has the good balance between a commercial mindset, a customer-focused approach and a good understanding of complex business environments.
We are looking for either a proven track record in a similar role within sales and/or customer service or other background with experience from business development or technical sales.
Personal skills
You right candidate is genuinely customer-focused. With a strong personal drive, the ability to focus on details as well as the ability to see the bigger picture. You will be working independently and in teams with the other sales executives in the department.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree
Some years experience with B2B sales and customer service
Experience with CRM systems
Mastering the Norwegian language fluently, both in speaking and writing, is an absolute must when working with Norwegian customers. We expect that you have experience working with CRM systems, SharePoint and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
