Can you design innovative electrical solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams?

COWI ASOslo10. august 2026

And are you an electrical engineer with consulting experience? Then, join COWI and help shape a sustainable and liveable future.

Create the solutions that will enable a better tomorrow

At COWI, we are creating sustainable buildings and infrastructure that improve the way people live and work. To help deliver innovative electrical engineering solutions across a wide range of complex projects, we are looking for a Consulting Electrical Engineer to join our team in Oslo.
You will become part of a strong multidisciplinary team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we work on some of Norway's most prestigious projects, including New Drammen Hospital, Oslo Metropolitan Emergency Room, and Oslo Airport Gardermoen, helping to create lasting value for our customers and society.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Design electrical systems across all phases of building and infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare technical calculations, specifications, and engineering documentation.
  • Develop practical and innovative electrical engineering solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and the development of the electrical engineering team.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you will have:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
  • 3–7 years of experience in consulting engineering, contracting, or construction management.
  • Experience designing electrical systems for buildings or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with Revit, BIM, or similar design tools is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian, both written and spoken.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
