We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Project Engineer for Product Development for our team at Raufoss.

Benteler Raufoss has approximately 500 employees and is located in the Raufoss industrial park. The company is known for its advanced technology and innovative solutions for the automotive industry. We have a strong focus on making the automotive industry both safer and more sustainable. Here, our experts drive innovation in design and process development, working closely with product development teams and production plants worldwide. We continuously optimize current production while pioneering inventive solutions for the future.

Your Responsibilities

• Define product development targets based on customer requirements.
• Document development steps and present results internally and externally.
• Perform feasibility checks and conduct design-FMEAs.
• Collaborate with tool and process design teams for production launch.
• Conduct tolerance analysis and develop dimensioning concepts.
• Plan testing specifications and report results.
• Participate in benchmarking, R&D, and innovation programs.

Your Profile

• MSc in Mechanical, Structural, Materials Engineering or equivalent. .
• Knowledge of automotive product development and industrial production.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency in CAD, CAE, PLM, and MS Office.
• Ability to build effective global working relationships.
• Experience in structural analysis or crash testing is a plus.
• Relevant work experience is an advantage. Practical experience from process design, tool design or other relevant field can compensate for lack of academic education
• Fluent in English; Norwegian, German or Czech, is an advantage.

The home base will be Benteler Automotive at Raufoss, Norway. Some travel might be required.
