Production Manager

The position is within the Cardiometabolic division and is responsible for effective and efficient day to day management of the production.Included in this is to ensure that production of products is done on time, in the right amount and quality within budgeted costs to meet the company objectives and goals. This is a managerial role that oversees the three production departments (Assembly, Packing and Instrument repair). The Assembly departments is the largest and run 24/7.

As the Production Manager you will ensure the quality requirements and the EHS guidelines are implemented and followed within the area of responsibility. You will be responsible for maintain shift pattern to the needs of the business and proactively work on continuous improvement and streamlining of work processes. In addition to the selection and implementation of operational excellence strategies, as well as the cost and investment budget.

Important tasks

• Maintain shift pattern according to the needs of the business
• Proactively work on continuous improvement and streamlining work processes in the area according to Operational Excellence and in cooperation with other departments
• Participate in projects related to new and existing products, processes and equipment
• Report input to the budget for the area and follow up, as well as input to RCE’s (Request for Capital Expenditure) and implement approved investments as appropriate. Requires financial literacy
• Provide employees with important feedback to meet both the department and company goals, as well as providing the correct training and opportunities for growth

Personal Characteristics and Qualifications

The right person has experience from project work or as a project manager within relevant field, knowledge of GMP, GDP and ISO 13485. Experience with Downtime/OEE system and Maintenace system. We imagine that you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree within a relevant discipline or experience in a relevant field. The manager we are looking for has experience in people management and change management skills. You also have the ability to adapt to changing priorities. You are self-motivated and driven, can work independently and exercise judgment and initiative. This role demands good communication skills, written and spoken, in English and a Scandinavian language. We will provide good training and there are development possibilities within the company.

You will need a certificate of good conduct to apply for security clarence from Civil Aviation Authority – Norway.
