We are seeking a skillful, curious and agile assessor in our growing team.
You will be responsible for assessing, inspecting and testing equipment, components and systems against national and international regulations (PED, EN 1090, CPR (steel), Welding, ATEX, IECEX, MD, etc.), international standards (EN, ASME, ISO, IEC, etc.), customer or project specifications, etc.; the deliverables from us are “ticket to trade” for our customers. This position gives an opportunity to work with and learn about different products and systems used in various industries and sectors, such as construction industries, process industries, hydrogen generation units, oil & gas platforms, mines, sawmills, etc. You will also interact with customers both external and internal, and actively participate in the section's effort towards efficiency and digitalization.
Tasks/ Responsibilities
- Manage, perform and deliver product certification and inspection activities and support the sales colleagues in quotations.
- Assessing, inspecting, auditing and witnessing tests;
- Document review for compliance with requirements;
- Guide and offer technical clarifications to customers;
- Contribute to maintain, improve and streamline our work processes and section goals;
- High customer focus.
Position Qualifications
We are looking for a colleague who has:
- Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Relevant industry experience can compensate for education;
- International welding engineer certification or equivalent;
- Completed ISO 9001 lead auditor (5 day) course, but not necessary to be an IRCA approved auditor;
- Experience with manufacturing, fabrication and related testing;
- Experience with Ex equipment is beneficial;
- Ability to handle several projects in parallel;
- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.
