About the role
DNV Business Assurance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Global Process Owner for Projects and Planning. This is a key role within our Operational Process Improvement team, responsible for driving global harmonisation and continuous improvement across planning and project-related processes. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners to maintain and evolve core business tools including the Scheduler, Oracle Service Cloud, and the Customer Portal, all in support of delivering a Superior Customer Experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global process design, implementation, and enhancement for planning, project set-up, and project maintenance activities.
- Serve as the global process owner and subject matter expert, bringing extensive hands-on experience in planning, scheduling (including GSP), and the operational use of Oracle Service Cloud.
- Possess a strong end-to-end understanding of the entire process lifecycle—from sales and quoting through to delivery and invoicing—to effectively support cross-functional development and manage interdependencies.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain production tools in steady state and plan and deliver approved development projects.
- Chair and facilitate Process Reference Groups to ensure strong user engagement and feedback loops.
- Drive standardisation and automation of planning and project processes across global units, with a proven ability to implement global solutions locally.
- Support the roll-out of tools under the Superior Customer Experience programme, including Customer 360, Enhanced Training, Customer Portal, and Customer Support Tool.
- Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and online learning resources to support system and process changes.
- Deliver training sessions and regular online Q&A forums for end users.
- Present process topics and updates at relevant internal network meetings.

Qualifications and Competency Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Extensive experience working within a Certification Body, with a strong background in project planning, process improvement, and customer-facing operations.
- Proven leadership in process implementation and operational harmonisation across multiple units or countries.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High proficiency in production systems and understanding of tool integration, data flows, and operational dependencies.
- Skilled in project management, including task planning, tracking, and timely delivery.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Self-motivated, service-oriented, and pragmatic with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
- Ability to empathise with diverse perspectives and drive change in a collaborative and inclusive way.
