Piping Support - Senior Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to strengthen our Piping Support department in Asker. As a Senior Engineer you will contribute to Aibel's exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition.

About the position

In the position of Senior Engineer, you will need good analytical skills and a genuine interest in calculations.

Responsibilities and tasks include

• Pipe support design using Aveva E3D modelling tool
• Pipe support component design
• Perform pipe support hand calculations
• Establish work instructions, procedures, pipe support standards and fabrication drawings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Minimum 5 years experience from the oil & gas industry
• Experience from pipe support design, drafting and analyses of pipe support structures
• Good knowledge of STAAD, E3D, E3D Draft and MicroStation drawing tools
• Some experience from site and yard would be preferred

Personal qualities

• Good analytical skills both with hand calculations and analyses software such as STAAD, etc
• Good knowledge of Equinor TR requirements
• Good communication skills
• Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural teams
• Good knowledge of Norwegian and English, written and spoken
