Piping Design Engineer

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is now looking for a: Piping Design Engineer (Valhall PWP project) with experience of offshore projects.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Piping Design in E3D/Navis works
• Detail knowledge of P&ID's, PFD's and Piping design
• Co-ordination with internal and external customers
• As built and LCI deliverables
• Production and checking of Isometric

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Engineering degree with experience from offshore greenfield related industry
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with E3D
• COMOS software knowledge is an advantage
• Detail knowledge of NORSOK design codes/standard for offshore industry
• Fluent in English, both written and oral

Work location: Fornebu (Oslo), Norway

Contract duration: February 2025 with option of extension
