As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is now looking for a: Pipe Support Design Engineer (Hugin A project) with experience of onshore or offshore projects.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

  • Design and 3D modelling of pipe supports
  • Pipe support calculations
  • Coordinate the pipe support interfaces as necessary for assigned tasks
  • Communication with client
  • Ensure that interfaces towards other disciplines are handled in an efficient way
  • Generate drawings and other documents according to project requirements
  • Checking of pipe supports may also be required


Qualifications we think you should have:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Piping Support design E3D experience
  • Preferably Aker Cap support program
  • Preferably experience with Aker Solutions Project Execution methodology


Work location: Fornebu (Oslo), Norway
Contract duration: 1-year contract with option for extension
