Pipe Support Checker

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage are now looking for a: Pipe Support Checker (Valhall PWP project) with experience of offshore projects.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Design and 3D modelling of pipe supports
• Checking of pipe support drawings and other pipe support documents according to project requirements
• Coordinate the pipe support interfaces as necessary for the assigned tasks
• Ensure that interfaces towards other disciplines are handled in an efficient way
• Communicate with internal and external clients

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Engineering degree in relevant field
• Experience from offshore-related industry, preferably in the North Sea
• Good general knowledge of the scope of work for pipe supporters
• Hands-on experience with E3D, CAP SUPPORT, STAAD pro and Navisworks
• Previous experience working with Aker Solutions is an advantage
• Fluent in English both written and spoken. Norwegian language is a plus

Work location: Fornebu (Oslo), Norway
Contract duration: June 2025 with option for extension
