About the role

DNV Global Shared Services (GSS) is looking for a Product Owner for our service management application ‘MyGSS’. The MyGSS Product Owner is accountable and responsible for the product´s performance and development including the strategic roadmap considering the organizational strategy and ambitions. The current strategy focuses on changes towards a digital world class shared service organization using AI capabilities to its upmost extent. The Product Owner will be pivotal in managing the established governance for MyGSS.

Taking on this role you will be part of GSS Digitalization and Development team (D&D) and will report to the Director of Digitalization & Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead the strategic direction for MyGSS and track KPIs to measure its success
  • Apply future-oriented insights and collaborate with GSS Leadership to ensure key targets are reflected and delivered
  • Act as a gatekeeper to ensure MyGSS remains the main customer interface
  • Drive the development process using innovation methods and SCRUM methodology
  • Oversee the Knowledge-Centered-Service (KCS) approach and mature it in the organization
  • Manage the governance setup around MyGSS including IT teams, Business representatives and KCS team members
  • Keep improving the way of working within the MyGSS MyGSS Governance structure
  • Continue to build strong relationships with our external vendor (BMC)

About you

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Proven experience from the professional services industry and a good understanding of business models for shared services
  • Extensive experience with digital tools and development
  • Several years of leadership experience, including effective delegation and team development
  • Ability to challenge the effectiveness and efficiency of the current organization and to drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated foresight, knowing what is happening in the market, how it will impact us, and what we need to do to adapt
  • Combination of strategic thinking and a growth mindset with operational monitoring
  • Experience in working in a cross-cultural environment, having the ability to respect and understand cultural diversity and be able to communicate and relate to others at different levels
  • Strong analytical skills, using data-driven insights to propose, initiate, and implement changes
  • Being self-motivated, resilient, and able to cope with work pressure
  • Ability to communicate effectively, is pragmatic, builds strong relationships, and can influence others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English at a minimum C1 level
