This is an exciting, permanent full-time position for an energetic and efficient Layout Engineer.

About the Role
Your primary role will be to support our global operations in preparation of layout in Feasibility study and project phase, including but not limited to:
- CAD modelling of conceptual 2D and 3D layouts of complete WtE and CCU plants with infrastructure and preparation of google sketch-up and other visualisations.
- Review of contractors’ detailed layout.
- Collect and merge CAD models from all project parties, using different software, into an aggregate model to be used for design coordination between the parties.
- Demonstration of layout with global team and updating their comments
- Preparation of PIDs and PFDs
- Collaborate with engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Interaction with client and obtain the necessary inputs for layout preparation.
- Site visit, if required and collection of site details for plant layout and process equipment layout
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of 3D modelling software (Bentley MicroStation) software updates and industry best practices.
- Support document control activities for active projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Appreciate and enjoy the challenge of supporting a busy team.
- Good English communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Layout modelling preparation of WtE, Thermal power plants or similar.
- Knowledge in EfW/WtE or CCU equipment is mandatory.
- Comprehensive experience with layout modelling work in 3D as well as 2D in Bentley MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of drafting techniques, engineering principles, and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Be diligent, focused and detail orientated.
- You are systematic and structured in your way of working, and you are creative-minded.
