Join Our Team as a Marine Logistics Specialist for Offshore Wind Operations!
Job Description
Are you ready to be a part of shaping the future of sustainable energy? At Statkraft, we seek a dynamic individual to join our team as a Marine Manager. As a key player in the Offshore Wind industry, you'll be at the forefront of identifying Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) and Service Operation Vessels (SOVs) suitable for Offshore Wind projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Identify and evaluate Crew Transfer Vessels and Service Operation Vessels to support Offshore Wind operation. Monitor new builds and developments to enhance wind farm availability and reduce operational costs.
- Negotiation Mastery: Take the lead in negotiating marine contracts to support daily operation (Jackup, service vessels, ports) across regions, ensuring optimal terms for robust and safe operations.
- Collaborative Support: Support O&M managers in marine contract management and performance monitoring of service providers, fostering a collaborative and efficient operational environment.
- Innovative Solutions: Identify and propose solutions for main component exchange for offshore wind, including floating structures. Constantly strive to improve vessel setups for future projects.
Competence Requirements:
- Vessel Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of vessel concepts and operations, focusing on Crew Transfer Vessels and Service Operation Vessels.
- Safety First: Maintain a high focus on Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) standards to ensure the safety of all operations.
- Regulatory Awareness: Understand the regulations and standards governing offshore wind and vessel operations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Contract Management: Demonstrate experience in establishing and managing marine-related contracts to support the success of Offshore Wind projects.
Qualifications
- A BSc or MSc degree is preferred. Relevant work experience can compensate for a formal degree.
- Bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience with vessels in the offshore wind industry, showcasing a deep understanding of industry dynamics.
- Exhibit excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, essential for effective collaboration and problem resolution.
- Showcase the ability to work independently and within a team environment, contributing to a positive and innovative workplace culture.
- Be prepared for some travel as part of the role, adding an exciting dimension to your professional journey.

Statkraft manages critical infrastructure and services in several countries. The applicant must be eligible to pass the necessary background check according to regulatory requirements within their location.
