About the role

DNV – Energy Systems is seeking a Head of Section & Service Delivery Manager to join our QHSE Software Engineering unit. This unit develops and delivers DNV’s Synergi Life QHSE software portfolio—one of the world’s most recognized EH&S brands, trusted by over 350 companies and 750,000 users globally across energy, healthcare, transport, government, and construction.

In this combined role, you will lead a distributed team of approximately 6 specialists responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Synergi Life SaaS platform. The position requires a strong focus on day-to-day operational excellence while driving long-term planning and enhancements to deployment pipelines and overall SaaS platform capabilities. You will play a pivotal role in shaping architecture, security, and reliability, while addressing evolving stakeholder needs such as automation, configuration processes, and system health improvements—all in close collaboration with the Product Delivery Team.

Main Responsibilities

Service Delivery Leadership

• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of the Synergi Life SaaS platform.
• Oversee tenant onboarding, upgrades, and major incident resolution.
• Drive architectural improvements, compliance with SLAs, and disaster recovery planning.
• Balance operational priorities with strategic initiatives for deployment pipeline and platform capability enhancements.

People Leadership

• Manage and develop a team of approx. 6 specialists, fostering engagement and growth.
• Conduct performance reviews, set development goals, and support career progression.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Contribution

• Act as the primary liaison for Product Management, Customer Success, and Support teams.
• Contribute to technology evolution and strategic initiatives for SaaS operations.

About you

• MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in service delivery management for SaaS platforms
• Strong background in cloud operations, architecture, and security
• Experience in personnel management and leading distributed teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Customer-centric mindset with ability to balance operational priorities and strategic goals
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and agile methodologies
