Main Process Systems Engineer

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is now looking for a: Main Process Systems Engineer (Hugin A project) with experience of onshore or offshore projects.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• System design responsibility for gas handling and compression systems
• Preparation of flow diagrams and P&IDs
• Input to and follow-up of compressor packages
• Interface with other relevant disciplines
• Attend HAZOP and resolve HAZOP actions

Qualifications we think you should have:

• BSc or MSc in relevant field
• Experience with process system design in the oil and gas industry, in particular gas systems, compression
• Preferably experience of NORSOK regulations
• Software Skills: Microsoft Products, Unisim
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Work location: Fornebu (Oslo), Norway
Contract duration: December 2024 with option for extension
