To enable Energy Systems Business Area to achieve its strategic growth ambitions, we need leaders who drive business operations to meet customers’ expectations while also continuously improving the way we work. The new organization we defined is based on two main dimensions: Customer focus around our Key Accounts, Segments & Markets, and strong Regional Service Areas.

As a Segment Lead for e-fuels you will support and drive DNV’s global growth in for low carbon fuels.

You stimulate cross- and up-selling and cross manning within projects. Collaborate closely with Segment Leads, Market Area Managers (MAMs) and Key Account Managers (KAMs) and proactively engage with our customers. You would report to the Regional Head of Customer Relations and Sales for Energy Systems.You will maintain an updated reference portfolio that showcases our leading competences for the relevant markets and our project experience. Next to this you will own our market positioning and manage external relations in collaboration with Marketing, Communication & Public Affairs.

The role connects our customers to our leading competencies in this segment that is dispersed across our service areas/departments. This enables us to accelerate in a growing strategic market segment.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Change agent, bring expertise together to define new value propositions
  • Lead strategic bids
  • Drive marketing activities
  • Support lead generation, bidding, and project execution in operations
  • Facilitate domain knowledge building within the organization
  • Sell from domain experience
  • Be a project resource in strategic projects
  • Keep overview of project references
  • Closely collaborate with segment roles

Position Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in process engineering, chemistry or equivalent.
  • Experience of working at a senior level in the industry understanding market drivers and challenges in own market area.
  • Experience of driving continuous improvement in a team and developing a culture of high-quality delivery mindset for the customer.
  • Strong at internal and external networking
  • English language skills written and spoken
