About the role
A Lead Auditor Sustainability plays a crucial role in ensuring that organizations adhere to environmental and sustainability standards.
Typical tasks as a Lead Auditor:
- te system audits and verification assignments to assess compliance with environmental and sustainability standards, such as ISO 14001
- Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions to improve environmental management systems
Supporting Clients:
- Assist diverse clients across various industries in developing and implementing effective management systems
- Provide guidance on best practices and continuous improvement in sustainability efforts
Training and Education:
- Conduct courses and training sessions for clients to share expertise and knowledge on sustainability and environmental management
Reporting and Documentation:
- Document audit findings and prepare detailed reports outlining non-conformities and recommendations
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive record-keeping of all audit activities
We are currently looking for a Lead Auditor with a background in industry and/or process industry, primarily in environmental and sustainability topics (e.g. climate change).
You will support our customers in a variety of industries and sectors in their development and implementation of management systems through system audits and other verification assignments.

Qualifications:
- Minimum a bachelors degree or similar university education
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience. A combination of operational experience and experience from development/maintenance of management systems is preferred
- Candidates with a background in occupational health and safety and/or quality are encouraged to apply for the position
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Very good knowledge of Norwegian, both written and spoken
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Experience in management and/or continuous improvement is an advantage
