At Arkitema, we are intensifying our focus on data centres and strengthening our capabilities to support clients in delivering the next generation of digital infrastructure.

Therefore, we are looking for a Lead Architectural Project Manager to join us. In this role, you will work closely with clients, colleagues, and partners to shape and deliver data centre projects from early concept through to design and implementation. From day one, you will engage directly with clients - leading meetings, guiding decision-making, and driving the delivery of CSA disciplines across projects. You will translate global concepts into locally compliant solutions while structuring teams and workflows to ensure efficient execution.

Arkitema was established in 1969 making us one of Denmark's oldest architectural firms. Today, we are well positioned in Scandinavia with offices in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

In our markets we provide wide range of competencies in our areas of expertise. We cover sectors and disciplines like healthcare, industry, transformation, landscape and residential construction.

Since 2019 Arkitema has been part of COWI, one of Scandinavia’s leading engineering and consultancy companies. Together with customers, partners and colleagues, we shape a future where people and societies grow and flourish. We do that by co-creating more sustainable and beautiful solutions that improve the quality of life for people today and many generations ahead.

Lead multidisciplinary design for mission‑critical projects

As Lead Architectural Project Manager you will provide overall design leadership. You will align client requirements, technical disciplines and operational priorities, and help teams navigate complexity without losing sight of what creates value - throughout all project phases from concept to handover.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead multidisciplinary design delivery for data centre projects.
  • Ensure coordinated delivery across a large multidisciplinary project team, including discipline leads and international engineering teams.
  • Set clear direction, create clarity, and facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Oversee project financials, reporting to steering committees, and proactive risk management.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you -colleagues, partners and customers. You act respectfully, listen actively and follow through on your commitments. And you remain curious about new perspectives and ways to improve.

On top of that, you will have:

  • A relevant educational background in project management, architecture, engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working with engineering consultancy, technical advisory or complex infrastructure projects.
  • Experience from data centre projects or other large‑scale, mission‑critical facilities.
  • Experience leading large, multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Professional proficiency in English – verbal and written.

Work location

The role can be based in any of our offices across Scandinavia:

  • Norway – Oslo, Trondheim or Stavanger.
  • Sweden – Stockholm or Gothenburg.
  • Denmark – Copenhagen or Aarhus.

We work in international and multidisciplinary teams, and many of our projects are delivered across offices and borders.
