About the role
We are seeking a Labour Law Advisor to the Nordic region in the business are Global Shared Services, GSS in DNV. In this role you will be a part of our HR Advisory team in the Nordics. We support leadership and managers in a region with 4,500 employees in 6 countries. The team consists of HR Advisors, Labour Law Advisors and Talent Acquisition Specialists who deliver HR advisory services to our internal customers, enabling them to achieve their business goals.
For DNV, it is important to be compliant, have good processes at the individual level and have good cooperation with the unions. As a Labour Law Advisor, you will work with both collective and individual employment law.
In your role you will:
- Work closely with key stakeholders across business areas and have a voice in strategic processes and key business decisions in DNV
- Ensure labour law and HR compliance in the Nordic countries
- Give advice on labour law and union issues to leaders and HR on all management levels in the Nordic countries
- Give advice on labour law in merger and acquisition processes, both in due diligence and post-merger integration
- Manage and support negotiations (e.g. salary adjustment and revision of tariff agreements)
- Organize and conduct consultations with unions
- Build and maintain good relations with employee representatives
- Contribute to Nordic and global projects

To maximize your chances, you should:
- Hold a Master of Law degree
- Have minimum 5 years’ experience in the labour law field
- Have experience in handling union relations and collective agreements
- Demonstrate good legal understanding
- Possess a good business understanding and are solution oriented
- Are experienced in planning and conducting negotiations in complex organizations
- Can lead change projects and processes
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Have professional proficiency in both Norwegian and English language
