The position
By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:
- Deliver the future of Energy IT solutions, IT architecture and integration.
- Establish Product strategy and vision planning with the Product Owner / Solution Owner.
- Participate in Application Portfolio planning with Enterprise Architect.
- Hold accountability for application development life cycle and drive optimalisation of work methodology, process, and framework with our vendors.
- Decide high level architecture and be involved in Architecture Networks.
- Build and grow both IT and business knowledge.
- Take a lead role with our engaged teams and drive key initiatives forward by setting technical direction.
- For those that are at the earlier stages of their career, you will have the opportunity to develop your existing skills and become an expert in the above mentioned tasks.
Due to business growth, we are looking to hire a IT Solution Architects to join our Lifecycle Information process area, a large community of IT specialists that are collectively contributing to Equinor’s digitalisation journey. We use in-depth knowledge of technology, systems, software development, as well as our expertise in business process, to make valuable contributions to energy technology projects.
You

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related fields. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
- 5+ years experience gained with either software development or IT architecture work.
- Ideally have experience with Azure, Microservice, Identity management or Owasp.
- Experience within the functional area of Lifecycle Information would be an advantageous.
- Eagerness to bridge Equinor’s strategy to technology.
- Excellent communication skills (fluent English, both written and oral) and a strong ability to collaborate with others – and take overall delivery responsibility.
