As the internal support organization for DNV and DNV owned companies, we deliver shared services within Human Resources, Finance, IT and Real Estate & Procurement to DNV globally. About the role

Are you a dynamic HR professional with a passion for developing people and making a positive impact on your customers? If so, join our team as the Head of Section HR Experts, where you will lead a dedicated and skilled team of 7 specialists in areas such as pensions, insurance, compensation and benefits, employer branding, and health and safety. Our primary focus is on the Nordic region, supporting 3,500 employees. The team delivers top-tier HR services to our internal customers.

As the Head of Section HR Experts, you will:

  • oversee the team's operations and ensure deliveries align with global standards and service agreements.
  • lead and coach your team, coordinating efforts to achieve common objectives.
  • foster and enhance a culture that promotes a safe, respectful, collaborative, and motivating work environment.
  • ensure that the team receives training and development to meet capability requirements and advance HR and technology competencies.
  • maintain the highest levels of service quality, compliance, and data security.
  • manage your own process improvement projects.
  • build and maintain strong relationships with business area line managers and people managers to support and achieve key business objectives.
  • lead and/or collaborate on global projects.
  • be a member of the regional leadership team, reporting to the GSS HR Regional Manager.

Our Høvik office is in beautiful surroundings by the sea and can offer access to sailboats, kayaks, tennis courts etc. We have more than 30 activity groups for you to join, as well as gym facilities and a kindergarten located on our premises. It is also worth noting that we offer free parking and shuttle buses to and from Skøyen, Lysaker and Sandvika.

About you

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • have demonstrated experience and success in operational HR
  • possess strong knowledge in one of more of areas such as compensation and benefits, employer branding, health and safety , change management and compliance
  • be an experienced line manager
  • believe in developing people through delegation, empowerment, and coaching
  • have a solution-oriented mindset, strong listening and collaboration skills, and the ability to make decisions effectively
  • be customer-centric and excel in stakeholder management
  • enjoy identifying, developing, and implementing new ideas or ways of working
  • embrace a “growth mindset” and actively promote a culture of constructive feedback
  • hold a relevant university degree
  • be proficient in written and spoken Norwegian and English
