DNV has significant ambitions to rapidly grow our Cyber Security unit in the coming years, building on our strengths in the Nordics and internationally to make a global impact on safeguarding life, property and the environment also in the Cyber domain.
We seek an ambitious and driven Section Manager to take the helm of our Technical Architecture and Verification section. This section conducts penetration testing, cyber security assessments, technical verification and advisory to our customers around the world.
As Section Manager you will divide your time between working on customer projects and managing your team. The team consists of a mix of experienced and younger team members that are dedicated to make Cyber Security in DNV a success through excellent deliveries to our customers.
Specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to
- People management and development
- Competence development
- Optimizing team utilization and forecasting
- Recruitment and onboarding of new team members
- Deliver penetration test or other cyber security projects to customers
- Work as project manager on internal and external projects
- Take the role as bid manager in relevant sales processes
In addition to the managerial tasks, you are expected to be leading your team through times with high levels of activity and some uncertainty and be showing the way both through customer financed projects and internal activities. In addition to leading and managing a growing team of cyber experts, you will be working on exciting customer projects in several key industries like maritime, oil and gas, renewables, utilities, and others. The section manager reports to the Director DNV Cyber Security Norway.
You will be based at one of DNV’s premises in Norway, preferably Høvik or Trondheim, but other locations can be considered for the right candidate.

Position Qualifications
- Essential competencies and experience
- Formal education on BSc level or above in relevant areas such as cyber security, computer science, telecom, or cybernetics. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
- Penetration testing and security audits on a wide variety of systems including IT and OT systems.
- Network architectures, general IT and OT cyber security
- Knowledge of IEC 62443 is an advantage
- Cyber security certifications like GICSP, OSCP, GPEN, CEH or any other penetration testing certification is an advantage
- The possibility for a higher security clearance is preferable
- Language skills: Fluent English, mastering Norwegian is an advantage
