About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Head of Project Management Office to join the Digitalisation and Development Team.

The team is responsible for driving digitalization agenda in our Global Shared Service organization, through identifying, managing and coaching on multiple digitalization and development projects worldwide, across all GSS streams: Finance, HR, IT, Real Estate Management & Procurement. In this role you will be reporting to the Digitalisation & Development Director and will be responsible for driving the execution of prioritized digitalization and improvement projects supporting the running business of the Project Management office for GSS. The role is a unique opportunity to contribute to DNV’s digitalisation journey, aiming at growing capability and delivery mindset in the organisation. The role provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to make the real difference by improving performance and embedding the Work Smarter mindset.

You will work in a hybrid model from one of the GSS offices. There could also be occasional business travels to other DNV locations, depending on the project assignments.

About you

In your role you will:

  • Drive and develop the GSS infrastructure around Project Management best practices.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of the PMO strategy and governance.
  • Own key meeting places like the GSS Venture Board, the GSS Enterprise project portfolio management, etc.
  • Own and develop project reporting best practices and tools.
  • Oversee the design and execution of the Continuous Improvement Funnel of initiatives.
  • Allocate resources between projects.
  • Lead projects.
  • Coach and mentor project members and senior stakeholders on PMO best practices.

Our requirements:

  • The candidate should have a proven track record of on-time delivery of business results and possess strong improvement and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to deliver project objectives, on time and in budget.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Effective communication skills with ability to inspire (presentation, energetic conversation, and effective writing skills).
  • Team Player- ability to work with people from various work streams cutting across functional boundaries.
  • Certified Green Belt/ Black belt or equivalent is a plus.
