Head of Engineering

Informasjonssystemer (InSys) is a COWI business IT department in Norway. We develop modern IT products and solution mainly for the parking sector and Road Toll solutions (AutoPASS). We deliver complex systems with high demands on usability and reliability, and quality is at centre of everything we do. We are today 16 skilled project managers, architects and developers, and we are currently expanding and are looking for 3-4 new employees.

Your key work tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Lead and be a role model according to COWI’s leadership behaviors and values
• Ensure delivery on direction and optimal performance of InSys, and successful project execution.
• Take responsibility for ensuring overall technical & professional development as well as talent management in InSys.
• Responsible for driving employee engagement and encouraging a high-performance, diverse and inclusive culture
• Lead InSys’ market activities in cooperation with InSys Market Director. Support tender and proposal activities. Ensure use of EDC and involve the COWI Group BizIT structure.
• Provide ongoing sparring and performance mgmt. for employees in InSys
