Arm’s GPU Design Methodology Team is responsible for creating the foundations for designing the Mali™ range of Graphics Processors. Mali™ is the most sold GPU in the world and a team of diverse, highly motivated and creative engineers are dreaming up improvements and technology that will make our innovative GPU even better.
In this inventive role, you get to use your experience in guiding the many GPU HW design teams to make the best possible GPU. You will help evolve our design processes, be hands on in the design development and testing, and establish standard methodologies as well as explore new groundbreaking tooling and solutions. You will investigate novel new methods of doing hardware design to accelerate the creation of new hardware, from unique programming paradigms to AI-powered tooling and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Design hardware blocks for use across multiple generations of GPUs.
- Help drive best practices for design across the organization
Required skills and experience:
- You will have experience with SystemVerilog RTL design, for example, GPUs, CPUs, DSP, or other hardware.
- You have the ability to work with a high level of independence and schedule your own work and tasks.
- You have the urge to improve how you and others work in an efficient way.
- You communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
“Nice to have” skills and experience:
- You have an eye for the wider picture of how design goes from idea to RTL and all the way to production.
- You enjoy exploring new tools and solutions for problems
- You value quality in what you deliver.
- Experience with high-level programming in languages such as C/C++/Python.
- Familiar with functional safety aspects of design and verification, including knowledge of ISO 26262.
