As the internal support organization for DNV and DNV owned companies, we deliver shared services within Human Resources, Finance, IT and Real Estate & Procurement to DNV globally. About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and results-oriented Quality Director to lead the Quality function in Global Shared Services (GSS).

As a Quality Director, you will be responsible for leading our efforts to maintain the highest standards of quality while streamlining our processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will play a critical role in areas where quality and compliance are getting increasingly important in all aspects of DNV and GSS operations. It is essential for GSS to deliver high-quality services consistently, anticipate risks, resolve issues effectively without repeating them, and learn from every challenge to improve overall performance.

In this role you will report to the GSS Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee quality and compliance enhancement initiatives within GSS, including addressing Quality issues in Synergi Life (support with Nonconformities, Proposed improvements, Complaints).
  • Develop quality and risk-related inputs for strategic planning and annual operating plans.
  • Drive a comprehensive GSS audit strategy in collaboration with operational streams and Group Internal Audit, ensuring proper management of findings and corrective actions.
  • Conduct Management System Reviews, uphold the standards in various applicable areas: Data Governance, Personal Data Protection, Risk Management.
  • Promote a high-quality culture throughout the GSS organisation.
  • Drive and manage the Business Continuity Planning in GSS.
  • Manage projects (incl. escalation-driven projects) within the Quality and Compliance area.

About you

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Degree in a relevant field or previous experience in quality management, quality assurance or auditing required.
  • Proficiency in developing and improving quality controls.
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to drive improvements in quality measures and outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills (previous experience with quality and/or compliance projects will be an advantage).
  • Proficient in using Synergi Life, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust at all levels.
  • Ability to engage and inspire Quality Managers.
