About Group functions
Group functions in DNV are experts on finance and accounting, human resources, communication and sustainability, legal, tax and compliance – providing company-wide support, governance and strategic projects. Group also includes our strategic Research and Development unit, which provides science-based insights and foresight to tackle transformations and challenges across the industries we serve.
About the role
DNV Group Internal Audit’s purpose is to provide independent and objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve DNV’s operations. All processes and entities in DNV are within scope.
Group Internal Audit consists of 7 members and reports functionally to the Board Audit Committee (BAC) and administratively to the Group CFO.

Area of Responsibility:
- Build a strong understanding of the company’s strategy, key risks, and overall business operations by working with and learning from multiple business areas.
- Extract, analyze and build data models based on operational and financial systems to support the audit process and strengthen audit conclusions.
- Contribute to the planning, execution, reporting, and follow‑up of audit engagements across all business units, Global Shared Services, and Group functions.
- Communicate effectively and professionally—both verbally and in writing—in a diverse, international environment.

About you
Qualifications:
To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe the right candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Business Administration, or similar
- 2-3 years experience from internal audit, external audit or other finance functions
- Knowledge of data analytics, BI models and a strong interest in developing skills within financial and operational systems
- Experience from working with a multi-national company is preferred
- Interest and experience from working with Oracle / other ERP systems is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills. Professional fluency in English is required
