Graphic Designer – Create visual impact on strategic proposals
Do you thrive in a structured, collaborative environment where continuous learning and teamwork are key? Are you motivated by graphic design and skilled at turning complex ideas into clear, visually engaging content? Then, join our team and support impactful international proposals and presentations.
Extend your potential with a global team of experts
To shape the visual identity of our most strategic proposals, we are looking for a Graphic Designer who can apply their creativity and communication skills in a varied, international environment, who can combine clarity and creativity to produce visually compelling, customer-focused materials that reflect our brand and elevate our message. Whether you're a recent graduate or have a few years of experience, this opportunity is for you. As part of the Global Market Team, you’ll work on some of the largest and most influential proposals within the COWI Group. You'll help secure strategic proposals across sectors and markets. Working closely with proposal managers, business development professionals, and fellow graphic designers, you’ll play a central role in delivering compelling, high-quality content. You’ll be based in one of our offices in Denmark (Lyngby or Aarhus) or Norway (Oslo or Kristiansand) and collaborate with colleagues across borders and disciplines.
As a Graphic Designer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing visually impactful layouts for COWI’s Top 10 strategic proposals.
- Developing professional PowerPoint presentations for both internal and external use.
- Ensuring all materials align with COWI’s visual identity and branding guidelines.
- Turning complex information into clear, well-structured visual narratives.
- Collaborating with our design colleagues in Lithuania to ensure consistency and high-quality output while managing multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
- Translating abstract ideas and messages into engaging and effective visual communication.
What you bring to the team
The first step to success in this role is that you are motivated to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has recently completed a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field, or has up to a few years of relevant experience.
- Is proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign and Illustrator.
- Has proficient skills in PowerPoint and a solid understanding of visual hierarchy and layout principles.
- Works systematically with a keen eye for detail and thrives in a structured, efficient, and deadline-driven environment.
- Is fluent in at least one Nordic language (Danish or Norwegian) and English, and communicates clearly and collaborates effectively across teams and borders
