Do you want to launch your career journey in project engineering for our Subsea systems project in Energy Systems? We are looking for Graduates to join our team in 2024!

Our section takes part of a broad specter of projects as technical experts. We are a competence center for Subsea production systems (SPS), doing product certification, advisory and verification work. We are the center of expertise for technology qualification (TQ) which is a risk-based process that provides evidence that the new technology will achieve its objectives with an acceptable level of confidence. We are a vital part of the development of DNV’s service related to digital twins.

DNV is looking for a dedicated engineer with material/subsea background who can further strengthen our position in the oil and gas market as well as take part in our journey with respect to the renewable energy industry. Our Subsea, Drilling and Well team is located both in Bergen and Høvik, and we are seeking to expand and develop our team at Høvik with a graduate engineer. Our team consist of highly qualified engineers working closely with key players in the O&G industry in Norway and globally.

DNV is now looking for young professionals who are ready to start their journey with us in August 2024.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Review of analysis and documentation
  • Integrity assessment of subsea equipment

Position Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate that graduates in 2024, interested in working with Subsea projects relating to pressurized equipment and systems.

Qualifications:

  • M.Sc in mechanical engineering, marine, structural engineering or similar.
  • Knowledge of finite element analysis and pressurized components
  • Knowledge within Subsea components and systems can be valuable
  • Knowledge of materials, reliability, risk and safety evaluations can be valuable
  • Related engineering experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian is a plus

Personal qualities:

  • A team player, with a positive attitude and a good sense of humor
  • Able to combine theoretical knowledge and practical skills
  • Eager to learn and develop yourself
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
