The programme

The programme lasts for 2-years and includes rotations of 3-12 months across functions, business areas.

The position

By joining our team in Information technology & Digitalisation you will have the opportunity to:

  • Create cutting-edge AI solutions for energy transition.
  • Unlock the potential of our vast amounts of data through use of advanced technologies such as cloud computing, microservice architectures and machine learning.
  • Enhance efficiency through innovative software development.
  • Develop automation, robotics and remote control systems for operational excellence.
  • Inovate energy solutions with Geospatial and Geodesy competence, data, and technology.
  • Implement and enforce robust data management and architecture practices.
  • Deliver modern digital workplace and collaboration solutions.
  • Design solutions based on business and end-user needs.
  • Implement the cloud based data and analytics platform for the future that will enable Equinor to be a more data driven company.

You

For this position we are looking for those with:

  • Master’s degree or PhD with good academic record within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
  • Completed degree within year of starting (2025)
  • Fluent in English
  • No more than than two years of experience
  • Formal experience is not a requirement
  • Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage

  • Is curious and strives to learn, develop, and grow their skills and competencies as their environment changes. Take ownership of and seek out learning opportunities and constructive feedback.
